SafeFAST Elite
The SafeFAST Elite is a Class II A1/A2 microbiological safety cabinet, part of the latest generation of laminar flow systems developed by Faster. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it guarantees compliance with the most stringent safety standards, including European standard EN 12469:2000.
This model is designed for demanding environments and intensive applications. It is suitable for advanced research laboratories or industries with high demands in terms of durability and safety.
Key features
Efficient filtration system : The SafeFAST Elite recycles 70% of the air through a class H14 HEPA/ULPA main filter inside the hood, while the remaining 30% is expelled through another class H14 HEPA/ULPA filter, ensuring optimum protection for the operator, the product and the environment.
Ergonomic design: the inclined front window made of safety glass provides optimum visibility of the work area. This window is motorized, allowing easy opening and closing for easy access during cleaning and maintenance.
Ease of maintenance: The AISI 316L stainless steel worktop features removable sections, facilitating cleaning and sterilization. What's more, the station is designed to pass through 800 mm door openings, with depth reduced to around 790 mm after removal of the rear panel, simplifying installation.
Advanced control system: Equipped with an automatic control system and microprocessor monitoring, the SafeFAST Elite ensures reliable performance and enhanced safety when handling pathogens.
Operating principle
Ambient air is drawn in through slots in the stainless steel base of the front opening, passes under the work surface and is then directed into the plenum of the recirculation and exhaust fans. The negative-pressure plenum's "bio-dynamic sealing" system ensures that all contaminated particles are confined within the system and captured by HEPA/ULPA H14 filters. 70% of the filtered air is recirculated in vertical laminar flow into the work chamber, while the remaining 30% is vented to atmosphere.
